Make it longer when it is thin — shorter when it is noisy.
The Optimizer fixes structure; this page fixes length. Expand mode adds missing constraint and example slots without inventing facts. Compress mode cuts repetition and fluff while protecting lines marked as constraints.

How this works
Expand never fabricates brand claims — it only adds labeled empty slots or checklist lines you fill in. Compress uses the same filler list as the Optimizer plus duplicate-paragraph collapse, so repeated instructions do not survive a trim pass.
If protect constraint blocks is on, labeled constraint sections stay when compressing. Review the diff anyway — a line you care about might not be inside a labeled block yet.

Expand vs compress — quick calls
Length problems look similar but need opposite fixes.
Too thin
Expand adds Examples or Output format slots when missing — empty placeholders, not invented product claims.
Too bloated
Compress cuts filler phrases and duplicate paragraphs. It does not rewrite for style; run Optimize first if structure is the real issue.
Protect constraints
Turn this on before compressing if your must-not rules live inside labeled constraint blocks.
From the Optimizer
Send to Length Tuner passes the optimized draft through session storage on this device — no upload, no account.
When structure is fine but the draft is wrong-sized
You already ran Optimize and the sections make sense — but the prompt is half the length your team template expects, or twice as long for a token budget. This page handles length without reopening the structure pass. If sections themselves are wrong, go back to the Optimizer first.
