Privacy Policy

The short version: text you type into our tools is processed in your browser. We do not operate a prompt database, do not train models on your inputs, and do not sell prompt content.

We may see standard web-server metadata (such as IP address and user agent) through our hosting provider. Aggregate analytics may tell us which pages are popular — not what you typed.

Calculators, optimizers, and prompt assembly tools run entirely client-side in your tab. When you rewrite a draft or fill in a form, that processing happens locally; we do not receive your prompt text for generation, storage, or review.

We do not maintain a database of user prompts, do not use your text to train machine-learning models, and do not sell or license prompt content to third parties. If you close the tab without copying your work elsewhere, the site has no copy of what you entered.

Some tools may save short-lived data in your browser — for example, to hand off text from one tool to another on the same device. That storage stays on your device only; we cannot read it remotely.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings. Clearing site data may reset in-progress work on a tool page.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Like most websites, standard request metadata may be logged for security and operations: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp.

Cloudflare processes this data to deliver pages, mitigate DDoS attacks, and block abuse. We do not use server logs to reconstruct the prompt text you type into tools, because that text is not sent to our servers during normal tool use.

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand site usage — for example, page views, approximate region, device type, and referral source.

Analytics is not linked to prompt content. It helps us see which tools and guides are useful so we can maintain the site. We do not use analytics to build individual profiles of visitors based on what they type.

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QY06TB4SCH) to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, browser, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized. Using the optimizer does not require analytics; display ads are currently off. Analytics never receives prompt text you type into tools.

Display advertising may be enabled later to help keep the site free. If ads are shown, ad partners operate under their own policies and technologies. Ads never receive the text you type into a tool.

Some guides or static pages may include affiliate links to third-party writing tools such as Jasper, Writesonic, Grammarly, or Surfer. If you click and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on the page where a link appears.

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site operation, analytics, or — if enabled — advertising.

Analytics and ad partners may set their own cookies subject to their privacy policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect certain site features.

Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga for aggregate measurement. Analytics and any future ad scripts are disclosed on this page; prompt text is never sent to Google Analytics.

PromptOptBase is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal data, please reach out and we will delete it.

Visitors may access the site from many countries. Hosting and analytics providers may process data in regions outside your own.

• Do not paste sensitive personal, financial, or confidential business data into tools unless you accept that you are working locally in your browser.
• Use private browsing or clear site data if you share a device.

We may update this policy when tools, analytics, or advertising practices change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
