Examples are scaffolds — not finished work.

Why example prompts help, how to adapt them without inventing facts, and where to find copy-ready templates on PromptOptBase.

What good examples include

Useful generative AI prompt examples name the task, audience, tone, and output shape — the boring lines people skip when they type write me a blog post. Examples teach structure, not domain expertise you do not have.

Our template library keeps examples static and editable. They are not produced by calling a model to hallucinate sample campaigns for your brand.

Adapt, do not autopilot

Replace every bracketed placeholder with real facts. Delete sections that do not apply. If an example includes a proof line you cannot verify, remove it — empty is better than invented.

After adapting, paste into your chat tool or run the Optimizer to tighten labels and cut filler if you merged sections by hand.

Where to browse

The templates index groups writing examples, marketing starters, email sequences, and social batches. Each card copies as plain text with a one-click copy button.

For net-new prompts from your brief, use the Prompt generator instead of hunting for the closest example.
