Claude prompts: generate from a brief or tighten what you already wrote.
When to generate a Claude-ready prompt from scratch vs optimize an existing draft, and how Anthropic-style section order differs from ChatGPT habits.

Two different starting points
The Prompt generator builds from form fields — goal, audience, context, output shape — with Claude as the default preset. Use it when you have requirements but no draft yet.
The homepage Optimizer rewrites text you already typed. Switch the preset to Claude and the section labels and phrasing habits follow conventions Claude users expect, without calling Anthropic APIs.
Not an Anthropic product
PromptOptBase is a third-party browser toolkit. We do not access Claude, store conversations, or tune against live Anthropic documentation. Presets are static wording templates maintained in our codebase.
If you need official guidance, read Anthropic's published prompt docs — then use our tools only to structure your side of the paste.
Practical tips
Put the single clearest ask in a Task line near the top. Keep constraints honest — if you do not have metrics, leave them out rather than letting a template invent them.
For durable persona work, use the Role / system builder and paste the block into Claude system text separately from per-task user prompts.
